Frequently Asked Questions
-
How much will it cost?
This is something that can be arranged once we know your exact requirements..
how long would you like us to play for...how much travelling is needed to get to your your
chosen location...would you like additional musicians such as a saxophone player or extra vocalists..
Having fewer musicians than our usual five can also bring costs down !
We offer a competitive rate for a first rate service.
-
How long do you play for?
Again, this can vary...because we always try to meet our clients needs...but
generally..we will do an early evening set of quiet jazz/easy listening music
at a volume that means your guests will still be able to chat whilst enjoying
dinner! this usually lasts about an hour and later, when all the speeches are
over...two dance sets of around 45mins to an hour each....we will be happy
to work around raffles, the disco or any other entertainment that you might
have in mind.....you tell us!
-
What sort of music do you play?
Check out our songlist!!!!
-
We have a favourite song that we would love to hear...but it's not on your songlist?
No problem! provided we have enough notice, we will do our best to find and learn your favourite song.
-
What facilities do the band require?
Electricity supply, enough space to set up our equipment, somewhere for the band to change,
(it doesnt have to be the 'star dressing room' but it does have to be private!)
most caterers are happy to provide some food for the band during a break.
-
What happens when the band have a break?
Sometimes, the band alternate with a DJ and/or other entertainment...you may have a tape
that you would like us to put on, or we could provide something for you...just let us know.
-
Is it always five people?
We can arrange whatever you would like...from solo piano or guitar upwards....we will do our best to meet
your needs.
